The Action 2000 committee and membership presented representatives from the Beach Community Food Pantry, BCFP, with a check for $890 at their Nov. 11 meeting at the IRB Beach Art Center. The funds were raised from a 50/50 raffle Action 2000 held at the Octoberfest event. The BCFP which depends on local civic and commercial organizations for supplementary funding greatly appreciates the generosity of Action 2000.
Action 2000 is dedicated to working with residents, businesses and City officials of Indian Rocks Beach to seek positive solutions to accommodate future changes which preserve/revitalize/enrich our unique small town qualities in a cost effective manner which is both beneficial and equitable to all.
